CMI Honored as One of the Top 100 Most Successful Black-Owned Companies

Alexandria, VA - May 15, 2009

CMI Management was honored this spring at the Northern Virginia Urban League’s Annual Community Service and Awards dinner for its recognition in Black Enterprise Magazine as one of the nation’s Top 100 top-grossing black businesses.

The companies who make the Black Enterprise list are the undisputed best in their fields. Only leaders of the most productive and prestigious African American businesses are honored, executives with the insight to advance and the passion to persevere despite the uncertain economic climate.

"We are very pleased to be recognized by Black Enterprise and Northern Virginia Urban League as a one of the largest and most successful black businesses," said Abe Abraham, CEO, CMI Management. "We salute the efforts of the Urban League and Black Enterprise Magazine in reaching out to the community to support youth and aspiring entrepreneurs."

This is the fourth consecutive year CMI has been named to Black Enterprise’s "100 List". The recognition comes on the heels of receiving the company’s third Northern Virginia Business Success Award.
