Senior Project Manager Achieves LEED Green Certification

Troy Phillips, a Senior Project Manager for CMI Management, has passed his LEED examination! The LEED Green accreditation is issued by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) to individuals who prove their ability to understand and support green design, construction, and operations.

“It allows me to be a better Project Manager and clearly defines the benefits of going Green,” says Phillips.  He points out that LEED certification shows that an individual understands the many aspects of being “Green” and allows managers to be proactive identifying areas where customers can go Green and help the environment while saving money. “It’s a ‘value add’ for our customers,” says Phillips. “It shows that we are committed to having the best educated team members in the industry.“

The steps Phillips and other CMI employees are taking to increase their understanding of energy and “going green” helps position CMI to increase the value we offer our customers, now and in the future, as we work to continue exceeding our customer’s expectations
