CMI Partners with Akridge to Manage SEIU Headquarters

Alexandria, VA – February 1, 2007

CMI Management, Inc. (CMI) has been selected to partner with The John Akridge Management Company (Akridge) to provide facilities management services to the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Headquarters building in Washington, D.C. The five-year contract will allow CMI to provide facilities management services required for the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, structures, utility and sewage systems, and other related maintenance for the 194,000 sq. ft. building. Akridge is a nationally recognized, award-winning property management company that has previously partnered with CMI to manage properties including Gallery Place in Washington, D.C., a multi-use complex featuring 192 luxury residential condominiums, 230,000 square feet of commercial office space, underground parking, and retail and entertainment units.
