
CMI Management, Inc. (CMI) has been selected as a subcontractor to Applied Technology Systems, Inc. (ATSI) to provide support services to the U.S. Department of Labor’s Jacksonville Job Corps Center. The Center, a co-ed residential facility with an enrollment capacity of 350 students, provides academic and vocational training to students ages 16-24. Under a five-year contract CMI will provide corporate and on-center supervision, staffing and personnel administration to the Administration and Support Services, Maintenance, Food Services, Safety/Security, and Transportation personnel functions at the Center. In addition to providing support services, CMI will also be responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities of students assigned to CMI’s areas of responsibility as part of the Center’s work support program.
Authorized by the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964, Job Corps was created to provide work, training and education for economically disadvantaged youth aged 16 to 24.
