CMI Featured in Washington Smart CEO Future 50

CMI Management, Inc. and CEO Abe Abraham were recognized this month with a Washington Smart CEO Future 50 award for growth and provision of jobs in the local economy. CMI was among 26% of the recognized companies with annual revenues exceeding $25 million and in the top 8% of organizations with over 200 employees.

After an initial four years in business, CMI was certified in the SBA 8(a) program for small disadvantaged businesses. "During CMI's participation in the SBA 8(a) program, the company built a strong infrastructure and an aggressive approach to quality and customer services. In 2002, CMI graduated from the SBA 8(a) program," reports Washington Smart CEO. Presently, CMI work is distributed across over 70 locations nationwide, with over 600 employees and 500 contractors.

The report states that CMI's "most memorable sale in 2005 was the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to provide Records Management and Records Support Services for a multi-year, multi-state contract valued at $400 million."
